This article analyzes the continuing education of teachers through the document that implements the development of teachers. It shows that teacher training should be guided by transformations and challenges despite practice, beginning already in the undergraduate courses. The methodology presented is qualitative research, based on document research. The documentary research was carried out in the Teacher Professional Development Plan (PDPD) of the researched public university. The results achieved are relevant to this research because the quality of continuing education should be based on reflection and innovation because it is through training that the teacher develops his practice to face new challenges, thus ensuring a comprehensive trai...
