The article interpretsFanon’s thought through theframework of hatred and enemyformation and tracks the origins ofhis anticolonialism. Fanon depictedand presented the colonial enemyin harsh terms, but colonialismcan hardly be described as an“invented” enemy. Moreover, theFanonian concept of the enemy waspolitico-moral, not biological.
