Background: Research has shown that mental health plays an essential role during pregnancy since factors such as depression and anxiety can have adverse effects on the mother, the birthing process, the developing fetus, and the development of the child. It is, therefore, vital to increase the availability of evidence-based treatment options for women during pregnancy. Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of a six-week transdiagnostic cognitive behavioural group therapy (TCBGT) adapted to the specific needs of pregnant women.
