The article discusses the sustainability of the joint economy (the sharing economy) in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The sharing economy has changed our lives in many ways. The growth of the joint economy in Russia has (had) absolutely incredible rates. The volume of transactions of online sharing services (sharing services) operating in Russia amounted to about 769.5 billion rubles at the end of 2019. and showed an increase of 50% compared to the results of 2018.
