Purpose: using the example of our own clinical case to demonstrate the complexity of diagnostics at the outpatient stage of multiple myeloma, occurring against the background of comorbid pathologies and the new coronavirus disease 2019 associated with pneumonia. Materials and methods. Based on the data from the medical record of an outpatient patient, a diagnostic search in a 70-year-old patient with pain in the thoracic spine was analyzed. Results. The article describes a case of multiple myeloma proceeding under the guise of thoracalgia against the background of concomitant cardiovascular diseases, as well as comorbid pathologies.
