The article explores transformation of EU party-political space and the changing patterns of inter-parliamentary interaction in the European Parliament after 2019 EP elections. The article explores basic characteristics of EU party-political space. It concludes that a two-dimensional space of political self identification has emerged in the European Parliament: the classical right-left axis is supplemented by a properly formed axis ―supporters of deeper integration - eurosceptics''. It demonstrates that the formation of a stable axis ―supporters of deeper integration - eurosceptics'' leads to the erosion of the traditional consensus culture in the EP.
