Gagne has the perspective that learning is influenced by growth and the environment, but the biggest influence is a person's individual environment. The theory of learning put forward by Robert M. Gagne is a balanced blend of behaviorism and cognitism, based on information processing theory. Nine instructional events in Gagne Theory have a very strategic phase namely; 1). Gain attention; 2) Inform learners of objectives; 3) Recall of prior learning; 4) Present material; 5) Provide guided learning; 6) Elicit performance/practice; 7) Provide feedback; 8) Assess performance; 9) Enhance retention and transfer).
