The study examined sources of knowledge of HIV/AIDS and contraceptive use among University of Maiduguri undergraduate students. Knowledge of HIV/AIDS and Contraceptive Use Questionnaire (KHCUQ) was developed for the study. It was administered to 400 students using stratified random sampling technique based on gender, Department and Educational level. The study found that students have adequate knowledge of HIV/AIDS. Their sources of knowledge include television/radio, lecturers, dailies and magazines. Male and female students do not significantly differ in their knowledge of HIV/AIDS but significantly differ on use of contraceptives.
