This study investigated human resource subjects’ allocation and students’ academic performance in Secondary Schools in Obudu, Nigeria. The relevant variables of teachers subject was used as independent variable while the dependent variables were students’ academic performance. Six hundred teachers from 20 secondary schools were sampled for the study through stratified sampling technique. Teachers’ placement was correlated with students’ academic performance in NECO examinations in English Language and Mathematics on the basis of schools while the relationship between teachers’ placement and extent of their task accomplishment were correlated on the basis of individual teachers.
