Background: Research in other parts of the world has shows that men who have sex with men (MSM) may have higher rates of alcohol and tobacco use than the general population of men. Little is known about the pattern of tobacco and alcohol use among MSM in Nigeria. Aim: This study set out to assess the pattern of tobacco and alcohol use and to determine the factors associated with their use among a sample of MSM.
