Most coccygeal dislocations are managed non-operatively and surgery is best reserved for protracted coccydynia unresponsive to conservative management. We report our first case of this condition in a 47 year old female who slipped and fell on her buttocks six years prior. She sought repeated medical treatment for the pain and discomfort she experienced with no resolution of her symptoms. Her condition was finally resolved by coccygectomy. Keywords: Coccydynia, Coccygeal dislocation, Coccygectom
