This paper highlights the importance of Cameroon\'s tertiary institutions\' cooperation links with other African Universities given the rebirth of Organisation of African Unity as African Union, and the New Partnership for Africa Development (NEPAD). The present system of recruiting international students is haphazardly been handled by different departments and cooperation links are preferred with American and European Universities ignoring their African counterparts. The paper argues that in order to maintain useful and meaningful links with other African Universities, international offices are necessary in supporting this process and more importantly, the recruitment of international students.
