A total of 300 urine samples were examined for ova of Schistosoma haematobiun in rural community of Waduku. One hundred and forty-four (48.0%) of those examined were infected. The males were observed to have a prevalence rate of 54.0% than females (46.0%). It was observed that residents within age-group of 10-20 years (52.0%) were the most infected. While the least (37.5%) was recorded in residents aged 41 years and above. There was a significant difference between infection and occupation, with fishermen (65.2%) and farmers (50.7%) been the most infected and civil servant (33.3%) were the least infected (
