The attitude of Biology teachers towards and their extent of improvisation, were investigated 80 teachers from 50 randomly selected secondary schools in Oyo state of Nigeria participated in the study. Analysis of the twenty item questionnaire administered to the teachers revealed that though many of them exhibited positive attitude towards improvisation, yet their level of improvisation is very low coupled with their lack of utilization. Recommendations were advanced which were that a comprehensive course on improvisation should be incorporated into the curriculum at teachers preparatory stage and that regular workshops on improvisation be organized for teachers to update their knowledge and skills.
