Objectives: The objective is to assess standard practice of healthcare workers and preparedness of their healthcare institutions toward controlling spread of infectious diseases. Background: With the on ‑ going epidemic of Lassa fever and the rising incidence of Covid‑19 pandemic in Nigeria, there has been efforts from government and stakeholders in health towards controlling the surge of these diseases.
