This study examined the effects of counselling services and tenure on the job-satisfaction of junior workers in a Nigerian University setting. The sample of the study consisted of 350 junior staff randomly drawn from major administrative and technical divisions of Obafemi Awolowo University, lle-Ife. A self constructed but adequately validated job-satisfaction questionnaire was used to collect data for the study. The instrument of the study was tested for reliability using a test-retest method over a three week period. A reliability coefficient of 0.08 was obtained. Data collected were subjected to t-test and correlational analyses to confirm whether counselling services and tenure have significant influences on workers\' job-satisfaction. ...
