Rwanda embarked on a new curriculum based-competences in 2015. It is in this regards the Rwanda Education Board has continuously trained its counterparts in all areas of education. The present study intends to describe how teachers’ training college leavers’ support and are ready to implement this curriculum towards their students’ career teaching. The study used qualitative and group discussion research approach and method respectively to design and gather its data. The study found a relationship between mastering the new curriculum and preparation of lesson plan and teaching activities as input towards achieving a career teaching path skilful teachers needed by the Rwandan society.
