Traditional medicines are generally available, affordable and commonly used as self-care treatments. However, their inaccurate utilization can results in adverse events, or unfavourable outcomes. Individuals may consult both traditional healer practitioners (THPs) and biomedically trained healthcare professionals (BHPs) for their infections.
