Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is the use of photochemical reactions in the treatment of benign or malignant diseases using photosensitizing agent and light. PDT has received recent years, increased attention worldwide. Clinicians and researchers are developing new clinical applications in different fields of medicine. Here we review briefly the published literature in current applications of photodynamic therapy in dermatology. Keywords: Photodynamic therapy; Clinical application; PDT in dermatology.
