Haemonchosis caused by Haemonchus contortus is a predominant, highly pathogenic, and economically important disease of sheep and goats. Cross sectional study using random sampling from November 2015 to march 2016 in a total of 384 sheep was conducted with objectives of determining the prevalence and associated risk factors of Haemonchosis in sheep slaughtered at Jimma town municipal abattoir in southwest part of Ethiopia in Oromia Regional State. The overall prevalence of Haemonchus contortus was 264 (68.75%).
