As librarians, we should be actively marketing and promoting our library services. The paper aims to demystify mark eting for librarians. It reflects on the need and use of marketing knowledge in the effective provision of library products and services by librarians in Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and University of Lagos libraries.
