Tuberculosis discovered by Robert Koch in 1882, primarily affect the lungs, but can also affect virtually any organ in the body. Extrapulmonary tuberculosis occurring in the breast is rare despite the fact that 1 – 2 billion people worldwide suffer from tuberculosis.
