The purpose of this study was to examine perceived benefits and motives of physical activity participation among secondary school students. A total of 172 learners, aged 18.37±1.90 years who were attending three public secondary schools in Hlanganani rural area, Limpopo Province of South Africa, volunteered to participate in the study. Data were collected using a validated questionnaire.
