We introduce the notion of uniform paracompactness to uniform frames and give several characterisations thereof. In another context, we show that the locally fine reflector commutes with the completion in the category of strong nearness frames. Mathematics Subject Classification (2000): 06D22, 54D20. Key words: Frames, uniform frames, nearness frames, paracompactness.Quaestiones Mathematicae 27(2004), 9-2
