Transformation of tobacco plants (Nicotiana benthamiana Domin), containing non-translatable coat protein (cp) gene fragments of Potato virus y (pvy), Potato leafroll virus (plrv) and Potato virus X (pvx) with and without selectable marker gene was conducted using Agrobacterium-mediated transformation.
