Context: Induction of labour is an old procedure performed to artificially terminate pregnancy for various indications in the interest of the mother, the fetus or both. The aim is to achieve vaginal delivery. Various methods have been in use which include the use of Misoprostol, Dinoprostone, oxytocin infusion and others.
