Kluver-Bucy Syndrome, first described in monkeys as a result of bilateral ablation of their temporal lobes consists of hypermetamorphosis, visual agnosia, hyperarality and hyper-sexuality. In man, similar but not exact syndrome had been described and the symptom manifestations included placidity, apathy, bulimia, hyper-sexuality, agnosias, amnesia, seizure etc. We describe the human “Kluver-Bucy syndrome” In a Nigeria male with the clinical features of hypermetamorphosis, hypersexuality and behavioural seizure.
