Objective: To determine the incidence of brain tumours at King AbdulAziz University Hospital (KAUH) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, over eight year period.Design: Retrospective study.Sitting: King Abdul Aziz University Hospital in Jeddah Saudi Arabia.Subjects: Patients with intracranial tumours.Results: The overall average annual incidence rate for the adult population at KAUH was found to be 6.5 x 105. The most common brain tumour in adults at KAUH was metastatic brain tumour (28.5%). The average annual incidence rate in paediatric patients at KAUH was found to be 5.2 x 105.
