Objectives: To assess the influence of increasing age of subjects and testicular position on the outcome of single incision orchidopexy.Subjects and methods: A prospective randomized study of children aged ≤ 15 years with palpable undescended testes. The study was conducted between July 2015 and December 2016 in a Nigerian tertiary hospital. Patients were randomized into two groups: single incision orchidopexy and conventional orchidopexy group by simple balloting. The parameters studied were the patients’ bio-data, most caudal position of the testes, duration of surgery, wound complications such as wound infection, scrotal edema and haematoma.
