The early-life fast growth rate of modern strains of domestic animals comes with a number of problems which may include high body fat deposition, incidence of metabolic disorders and skeletal diseases, mortality and morbidity. Short term feed restriction might reduce the occurrence of these problems. To this effect, this study was carried out to investigate the effect of four hours feed withdrawal period on blood profile, carcass yield and offal weight of growing rabbits raised in a hot humid environment.
