We aimed to identify the impact of a simulated patient learning model on audiology doctoral student performance. With limited face-to-face patient interaction, we hypothesized that using simulated virtual patient sessions to supplement and complement in-person patient interaction time would improve doctoral students’ performance on practical examinations. Results could provide deeper understanding of virtual training systems, effective utilization and integration into the students\u27 clinical training and strengthening of developing skills
