AbstractThe purpose of the study was to find out the factors that influence development ofbeach tourism objects and development efforts based on society in TemajukVillage, Paloh District, Sambas Regency. The research method of this study wascombination method. Data collection techniques used observation, interview anddocumentation. d wBased on the research result, There are beaches with moderatepotential, Camar Bulan , Teluk Atong, Batu Nenek and with low potential is Suryabeach. The driving factors for the development of beach tourism objects are touristattraction, amenities and accessibility. the inhibiting factors for beach tourismobjects is, Human resource management in tourism objects are still lacking inquality and quantity. the budget also still lacking, road acces, and PLN is still notfully illuminated. and communication signal network is still difficult to access.support from the government, private sector and community are still lacking. Theeffort for development based on community are the participation of personnel,money and skills.
