This chapter is situated in the frame of an approach of the teachers' professional development, which integrates the question of their documentary universe. Among scholar practices - set of gestures, (regular or not) activities and tasks, within schooling institution - it is focused on the (mathematical or not) knowledge, which is at the core of what happens when someone has to teach something to somebody. For this purpose, the school documentation includes curriculum, teacher's textbooks, students sheets, all sorts of pedagogical documents (paper or website), etc. The documentation question is studied from the point of view of the praxeologic problem of the teacher who prepares his/her lesson.
