Reinvenciones del discurso cultural de la nación. La juventud de Bogotá y Buenos Aires de cara al bicentenario de la independencia. (1966 – 1976) (Axe XI, Symposium 40)

In the middle of the sixties years, processes of imitation and cultural appropriation of the international modern musical wave were developed in Argentina as well as in Colombia. Many local young groups started a cultural fight in order to accede to the fashion in the industrialized countries because the purpose to approach to the modernity, which requires the possession of cultural and materials goods, needed to realized the project. However, the fact that explains better the social agent disposition to adapt themselves to the cultural subject demands require by the international fashion, is the permittivity and the sponsor generated by the internal cultural politics. The chosen cities in order to analyze the adaptation and appropriation process, witnessed important architectural transformations; many spaces addressed to the youth were created and shows and resources were destined to accede to the cultural project. Radio, television and press, were the preferred way to expand and to promote the cultural distribution, until the moment that the movement decided to begin its autonomous existence. This essay has been thought around the event that brings together the Latin American people interest nowadays, owed the emotive celebrations raised in the heat of the independence battle of the beginning of the nineteenth century. For that reason, the main purpose is to establish the bases in order to generate future studies geared by the social imaginaries, which in this case are focused in the thought of an important sector of the youth people, who created and recreated images based in the historical tradition of their own countries. Two aspects clash between each other: the real nation, with all the social and economical adversity, that however are ignored in a first place, in order to allow the entrance of the other aspect of inspiration; the imagined nation. Since 1966 were born the most important protagonists of the local youth in both spaces, promoted for the subject interest of accede to the modernity and the progress saw in the developed countries; their social fight correspond to the purpose of move their nations from the backwardness and the premodernity, because they had raised a different national concept, apart from the real historical motives. Facing this position, the immediately subsequent generations responded, which have decided to halt the entrance of cultural motives beyond the local; they joint themselves to the international cultural movement that also pursuit the folklorist rhythms, which allow that the young from Argentina and Colombia think about the historical tradition. Precisely there appear the division points between the social imaginaries, because the independence battles take over themselves the historical responsibility of the present. The youth artist conceived personal and grouped thoughts over the past, with the goal to inculcate in the other generations what was considered for them the national historical reality.A mediados del decenio del sesenta se desarrollaron procesos de imitación y apropiación de la onda cultural internacional de la música moderna tanto en Argentina como en Colombia. Numerosas agrupaciones juveniles locales iniciaron una batalla cultural por acceder a la moda de los países industrializados con el propósito de acercarse a la modernidad, lo cual supuso poseer unos bienes materiales y culturales, necesarios para la realización de este proyecto; sin embargo, el motivo que mejor permite comprender la disposición de los agentes sociales para adaptarse a las demandas culturales subjetivas requeridas por la moda internacional, es la permisividad y el auspicio generado por las políticas culturales internas. Las ciudades elegidas para analizar el proceso de adaptación y apropiación sufrieron notorias transformaciones arquitectónicas, fueron creados espacios destinados a la juventud, se promovieron espectáculos y se destinaron notorios recursos para la consolidación del proyecto cultural. La radio, la televisión y la prensa, fueron los medios preferidos para la distribución cultural que se propagó prontamente en los hogares, hasta el momento en que el movimiento optó por autonomizar su existencia. Este ensayo ha sido pensado alrededor del evento que congrega el interés de todos los Latinoamericanos en la actualidad, dadas las celebraciones erigidas al fragor de las luchas independentistas de comienzos del siglo XIX. Por este motivo, el propósito central es establecer unas bases para generar estudios futuros orientados por los imaginarios sociales, que en este caso se concentran en el pensamiento de un sector importante de los jóvenes, quienes crearon y recrearon imágenes fundadas en la tradición histórica de sus naciones. Dos aspectos aparecen enfrentados: la nación real, con todas sus debilidades sociales y económicas, que no obstante en un primer momento son evadidas para permitir el ingreso del otro motivo de inspiración, la nación imaginada. Desde 1966 surgen los principales protagonistas de la juventud local en ambos espacios, promovidos por un interés subjetivo por acceder a la modernidad y el progreso de los países más desarrollados; su lucha social corresponde justamente al propósito de alejar a sus naciones del atraso y la premodernidad, porque han enarbolado un concepto nacional distinto, ajeno a los móviles históricos reales. Frente a esta postura, respondieron las generaciones inmediatamente posteriores, las cuales decidieron ponerle trabas al indiscriminado ingreso de otros motivos culturales ajenos a los locales; ellos se unieron a un movimiento internacional que también perseguía ritmos folclóricos, lo cual permitió que los jóvenes argentinos y bogotanos pensaran acerca de la tradición histórica. Es allí precisamente donde aparecen los puntos de división de los imaginarios sociales, porque las batallas de independencia adoptan sobre sí mismas la responsabilidad histórica del presente; los jóvenes artistas conciben planteamientos personales y grupales sobre el pasado, con el objetivo de inculcar en otras generaciones lo que fue considerado por ellos mismos como la realidad histórica nacional
