Pinecone 1964

A year book was published for Valdosta State College from 1925-1977, under the name The Pinecone. From 1981-1987, a yearbook was published called Milestones. Valdosta State University had three names during this period, Georgia State Womans College, 1925-1950; Valdosta State College, 1950-1993; and Valdosta State University 1993-present.A year of progress and change at Valdosta State College has come and gone. A year of new things begun and traditional things cherished.As we see new buildings rise to completion and become a part of the campus scene,so we see our college year unfold and become apart of our experience.The PineCone Staff hopes to make this year memorable not only for its major events,but for the small commonplace things that make life on this campus unique.Here is your year —1964— at Valdosta State College
