Results of experimental and natural observations over ctenophore feeding were presented and analyzed. Dependence of spectrum, feeding intensity and physiological state of ctenophore on change of qualitative and quantitative structure of fodder organisms was studied. For the first time we did not use monoculture as fodder, but a fodder mix close to natural by its structure, and organisms were kept in spacious aquariums at concentration close to natural. Character of ctenophore’s selection in consumption of the preferred species was investigated in conditions close to natural.
