Effect of authogenic hypoxia on Oxygen consumption and ammonium Nitrogen excretion by Black-sea Fishes-representatives of different ecological groups (bottom, near-bottom, pelagic) has been investigated. Experiments have been showed the next: when the Oxygen deficiency becomes 20 % of O2 saturation the intensity of oxygen consumption decrease; at the same time Nitrogen ammonium excretion increase in 2,5, 5 and 12 times in all investigated Fishes; c) under hypoxic conditions (20 % of O2 saturation) ratio O/N is less than 10. It means that proteins become to play predominant role in energetic change of Fishes
