Descriptive Analysis of Business Combinations carried out in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis is focused on business combinations carried out in the Czech Republic in 2018. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part is devoted to theoretical side of business transformations, from legal and accounting perspective, based on the Czech regulation. The thesis describes the main characteristics of individual type of business transformations, their substance and mutual difference. Furthermore, the basic steps required by Czech law within the preparation and implementation of the transformation are presented. The mainstay of this thesis consists in the analysis of a sample of all business combinations which took place in the Czech Republic in 2018 and evaluation of selected results.Tato diplomová práce se zabývá přeměnami společností, které se uskutečnily v České republice v roce 2018. Práce je rozdělena na dva hlavní celky. První část je věnována teoretické stránce přeměn a jejich právnímu a účetnímu zachycení dle české regulace. V práci je přiblížena charakteristika jednotlivých typů přeměn, jejich podstata a vzájemná odlišnost. Dále jsou popsány základní kroky při přípravě a realizaci přeměny podle českého práva. Stěžejní část práce spočívá v provedení analýzy přeměn uskutečněných v České republice v roce 2018 na vybraném vzorku přeměn a zhodnocení vybraných výsledků
