The dynamic development of media and media services, which took place in the late twentieth and early twenty-first century meant that their users can not only derive benefits, but they are also exposed to many unpleasant or even dangerous situations. Both the benefits and adverse effects of using media have become the subject of research carried out by specialists in various scientific disciplines, in particular pedagogy, psychology and sociology.
