Kur’ân İslâm’ı Söyleminde Tutarlılık Sorunu: Vahy-i Gayr-i Metlüv Bağlamında Bilge Kul’un Kimliği Örneği

Surah Al-Kahf of the Holy Quran (18/65-82. verse) talks about a remarkable journey that Moses and the Wise Servant went through. It is known that there are different opinions about the identity of the Wise Servant of this journey, questioning if he was a saint, Prophet, or angel. Although it is mentioned as an opinion, the view that he was an angel, could not find many supporters in the historical process. But today, it is especially defended by the supporters of the “Islam of the Quran” rhetoric. God’s communication with all prophets, especially the Prophet Muhammad, is not just about revealing a book; besides, it is generally accepted that he can communicate with them through direct address, inspiration, dream, or via the angel. The revelation of the book, as a way of contact, has been named wahy ghair matlu (non-Quranic revelation) by most of the Islamic scholars in the historical process, this definition has been conceptualized over time. The “Islam of the Quran” rhetoric limits the revelation to the Quran claiming that the revelation out of the book is impossible. In our opinion, responding to the Wise Servant who taught divine knowledge to Moses apart from the Torah as a normal event by considering that he was an angel and on the other hand denying the case of the Angel Gabriel coming to the Prophet Mohammad with the explanation of the Quran apart from the verses of Quran, and find this kind of non-Quranic revelation impossible is a contradiction and inconsistency. This study aims to draw attention to the inconsistency mentioned above by addressing the views within the framework of wahy ghair matlu and the identity of the Wise Servant.Kur’ân-ı Kerim, Kehf Sûresi 18/65-82. âyetler arasında Hz. Mûsâ ile Bilge Kul’un yaşadığı oldukça dikkat çekici bir yolculuktan bahseder. Söz konusu yolculuğun iki kahramanından biri olan Bilge Kul’un kimliği hakkında onun velî, nebî ya da melek olduğuna dair farklı görüşlerin olduğu bilinmektedir. Bir görüş olarak zikredilmesine rağmen tarihî süreçte çok taraftar bulamayan Bilge kişinin melek olduğu görüşü günümüzde özellikle Kur’ân İslâmı söylemi taraftarlarınca savunulmaktadır. Allah’ın Hz. Peygamber başta olmak üzere bütün peygamberlerle iletişiminin kitap inzâl etmekten ibaret olmadığı; yanı sıra doğrudan hitap, ilham, rüya ya da melek aracılığıyla onlarla iletişime geçebileceği genelde kabul edilmektedir. Kitabı vahyetmenin yanı sıra yapılan bu iletişim, tarihî süreçte İslâm âlimlerinin çoğunluğu tarafından ‘vahy-i gayr-i metlüv’ olarak isimlendirilmiş ve zamanla kavramlaşmıştır. Kur’ân İslâmı söylemi ise vahyi, Kur’ân’la sınırlandırmakta ve kitap dışında vahyin imkânsız olduğunu iddia etmektedir. Hz. Mûsâ’ya indirilen Tevrat’ın dışında ona ilâhî bilgiler öğreten Bilge Kul’un bir melek olduğunun iddia edilip bunun gayet olağan karşılanması ile Hz. Peygamber’e Cebrâil’in gelerek Allah’tan Kur’ân’ın yanı sıra özellikle de Kur’ân’daki mücmel ifadelerin açıklanması tarzında birtakım bilgiler getirmiş olmasının imkânsız görülüp reddedilmesi ise kanaatimizce bir çelişkiye ve tutarsızlığa işaret etmektedir. Bu çalışma, vahy-i gayr-i metlüv ve Bilge Kul’un kimliği çerçevesindeki görüşleri ele alarak söz konusu tutarsızlığa dikkat çekmeyi amaçlamaktadır
