[EN] The present study describes the use of various industrial and agricultural wastes for the manufacture of alkaline-activated binders. Almond shell ash is used as agricultural waste, while blast furnace slag has been used as industrial waste and a diatomaceous earth residue from the wine industry has been used as a source of silica. This residue that comes from the filtering of the wine, could replace the source of silica in the activator, for the preparation of geopolymeric binders, thus improving sustainability and reducing the carbon footprint of the binder.
