Abstract The demand for the improvement in the electoral process in Nigeria is premised on the view that it would reduce the manipulation of the system and make the votes count. The improvement is also to expand the scope of participation and inspire confidence that will ultimately make elections credible and ensure that government is accountable to the people. This paper, drawing largely from documented sources, examined the degree of the adoption of digital government in the management of the electoral process.
