REGISTRO DE NECROFAGIA POR GIRINOS DA FAMÍLIA HYLIDAE (AMPHIBIA, ANURA) EM FRAGMENTO DE FLORESTA ATLÂNTICA, NORDESTE, BRASIL

Necrofagia realizada por girinos de anfíbios anuros são eventos fortuitos e incipientes. Neste trabalho foi registrado pela primeira vez girinos das espécies Boana albomarginata, Boana crepitans e Dendropsophus minutus, se alimentando de cadáveres de Physalaemus cuvieri e Rhinella crucifer em uma área de Mata Atlântica no Nordeste do Brasil. Podemos considerar que apesar do registro ser ocasional em ambientes efêmeros, esse comportamento pode ocorrer com mais frequência na natureza.ReCORD of necrophagy by of the Hylidae family (Amphibia, Anura) in fragment of atlantic forest, northeast, Brazil: Necrophagy performed by anuran amphibian tadpoles are incidental and incipient events.
