As Geography was constructed as a scientific discipline over time, reflective moments have provoked periodic crises caused by the incapacity of the discipline to critically analyze reality. In an attempt to overcome superficial readings Geography urgently needs to reflect on methods and methodological procedures that could make the discipline a more critical social science.
