We analyzed five commercial hybrids obtained from eight inbred lines which were used as parental genotypes. In this way, we selected their F1, F2, BC1, and BC2 generations by applying the additive - dominant mode with three and six parameters for genetic effect estimation. The effect of dual - genetic epistasis was estimated by using 6 - parameter -mode (Mather and Jinks, 1982). We analyzed the parents and their descendants concerning their yield. There was a significant presence of dual genetic epistasis in Balkan hybrid (dominant x dominant, additive x additive) and in Lido hybrid (additive x dominant, dominant x dominant).
