International audienceIntertropical coral reefs are one of the most elaborate marine ecosystems but also one of the most vulnerable. Consequently, reefs colonies are suffering from bleaching. This depigmentation process reflects a symbiosis worsening between zooxanthellae and coral polyps which allow the construction of the coral skeleton (Goreau and Hayes, 1994).
