Objective: Many derivatives of pyrimidine are known for the broad-spectrum biological activities such as antimicrobial, antitumor, antibacterial, antitubercular, anti-inflammatory, and cytotoxic activity. Chalcones with an enone group show potent pharmacological activities such as antiinflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal, and antimalarial activity.
