ABSTRACTObjectives: Diabetes mellitus is associated with profound alterations in the levels of plasma lipids and the lipoprotein profile. Herbs and herbal drugpreparations find wide use in alleviating the complications of uncontrolled diabetes owing to their low cost and lesser side effects.
