Les semi-conducteurs dont le phosphure d’Indium de type n sont incontournables aussi bien dans les dispositifs micro et optoélectronique que dans le domaine énergétique (photovoltaïque). Ces matériaux présentent de bonnes propriétés physiques (faible bande interdite Eg = 1.34 eV, mobilité électronique élevée µ=0.46 m²/V.s) mais la surface de InP-n présente une instabilité chimique à l’obscurité au contact d’oxygène. Pour limiter ces phénomènes de surface, un film de polyphosphazene y est déposé électrochimiquement.
