Cette thèse a pour objectif d’approfondir les connaissances des dynamiques intergroupes et intragroupes qui s’exercent lors de la situation de chômage tout en prenant en considération la perspective individuelle afin de mieux appréhender les effets du chômage sur le bien-être psychologique des personnes sans emploi de longue durée. La première partie propose une revue de la littérature et pointe l’intérêt de combiner la perspective individuelle et intergroupe pour expliquer les causes de la dégradation du bien-être des personnes sans emploi. La deuxième partie s’intéresse aux stéréotypes à l’égard des chômeurs en comparaison aux travailleurs en se basant sur les théories récentes en lien avec le jugement social.
